Ole Rich lives in Viet Nam, and founded Cycling Viet Nam as an adjunct to Cycling Sulawesi in late-2002. Cycles are like his own kids!
Fluent in Vietnamese, he was an agriculture volunteer who cycled extensively during the war between 1969 and 1975, re-visited Viet Nam in 1993 and 2001, and came back to live in Viet Nam from late-2002 to the present.
He has translated and sung on TV some songs by the beloved Vietnamese composer, the late-Trinh Cong Son. An English lecturer, he still develops new trips, maintains the bikes, rebuilds others, trains the crew, and helps with the back-up and ready rescue systems that make our trips safe and fun. He will join when he can, of course! |
Our crew is tops! You will meet Hung, third from the right, our courteous and droll van owner and driver.
Then there is Ly, on the right, our indefatiguable assistant, a 55-year veteran of life including racing cycles when he was a tad younger!
And our guides, Minh and Kiet, whose pictures are on the way, guide you on your way through the sojourn of a lifetime.
